In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth George of the Parish of Tregare in the County of Monmouth being sake in body but good perfect memory(Thanks be given to Almighty God) doe make and ordain this last will and testament in manner and forms follwing (that is to say) first and principallyI remit and command my soul into the hands of Almighty God my maker hoping assuredly through only the merits of Jesus Christ my Saviour and redeemer to be made partaker of life everlasting and my body to the earth wherof it was made, to be buried in Chtistian burial and for such temporall estate as God hath blessed me with in life.
I doe give devise and bequeath and dispose the same for the (permission of Almighty God) in manner and to the following first I give and bequeath unto my brother Edward the sum of five pounds in lawful money of England
Item I give and bequeath the sum of five pounds unto Lewis my nephew son of my sister Mary by Edward Hirolas her husband
Item I give and bequeath nnto my nephew Walter the sum of five pounds which is son of my sed sister Mary by Edward Hirolas her husband: Item give and bequeath the sum of five pounds in lawful money of England unto Daniel my nephew son of my sed sister Mary by Edward Hirolas her husband:
Item give bequeath to Joan Powell daughter of Joan George the now wife og Robert George of the parih of Tregare eight pound to be paid unto her after the time that she be one and twenty years of age and to pounds towards her clothing and towards her keeping of her school and one fether bed which I commonly lye on and one fether boulster to pair of sheets and all my wearing clothes save what is mentioned herin:
Item I give and bequeath unto my niece Sisly daughter of my Mary by her sed husband three pounds in lawful money of England and bed and bulster which lye empty in my coffer and a payr of sheets and two of my shirts: Item I give and bequeath one golden piece of one pound one shilling six pence unto Anne Evans of the parish of Tregare in the county of Mommouth spinster daughter of Thomas Evans of Llanrihangell Ystern Llwern:
Item I give and bequeath unto William Walter of the parish of Penros in the said county labourer the six shillings six pence that I lent him and not yet paid paid by him: Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth the sister of the sed Anne Evans one brass posnet
Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth the daughter of William Richard David of the parish of Tregare in sed county of Mommouth labourer the sum of five shillings of lawful money of England
Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth the daughter of Richard Howell of the parish of Penrose in the sed county of Monmouth blacksmith the sum of five shillings of lawful money of England
Item I give and bequeath unto my god-daughter the daughter of James Harry of the sed parish in the sed county of Monmouth Labourer the sum of five shillings of good and lawful money of England:
Item I give and bequeath unto Sisly the daughter of Thomas Richard David of the parish of Tregare in sed county of Mommouth labourer the sum of five shillings of good and lawful money of England to be paid to heart upon the time that she bee one and twenty years of age:
Item I give and bequeath unto Joan James my now fellow servant the sum of two shillings and six pence:
Item I give and bequeath the rest and residue of all things whatsoever herin not formally bequeathed unto Thomas Evans of the parish of Tregare in sed county of Mommouth bachelor brother of the sed Elizabeth Evans towards the discharching of my funeral expences and I doo nominate appoint and make the sed Thomas Thomas Evans to be sole executer of this my last will and testament.
